I wouldn't worry about being the odd man out in the office. I've had so many jobs like that I can't even count, and the cool/not cool thing is probably all in your head. On another (sorta similar) note, you take excellent pictures, and if you're looking to meet people, you might want to take a digital photography class. I know some of the nicer developing places offer them pretty cheap.

You know what you should do -- once you come back from surgery and continue to lose weight, keep track of those people who come to your office to chat. I bet it goes up. When I lost 100 lbs, I had all kinds of people talking to me. It will be interesting to watch you know? 2 weeks until the big day, how exciting:)

Those clouds are incredible looking. That is the sweetest thing, the little boy bringing your flowers because you'll be a mother someday. So, so sweet.

Yeah, I, too, have been the 3rd girl quite a few times. But I think a lot of that stems from insecurity, and the way I reacted when I saw other girls getting along. My first instinct when I saw Dina and Julienne getting closer than I was with either of them was to get obnoxious and be super friendly, but I laid low. I guess it worked out for me.

Those photographs were amazing! I've never seen clouds look like that. Maybe because we don't have such dramatic weather here in the East? Two weeks and counting and praying. I'm also keeping Supe in prayer.
