Hi there - yeah you really have to get your head together, and think about why you eat. I know why I do. Food's the only thing I could control in my life. Therapy might be the next step in your recovery:) xoxoxo

I don't know what this is like for you except what you tell me, but I am cheering for you!

I am soooo glad that you are home and are on your way to a speedy recovery. I hope you get to enjoy your time off. Do me a favor... go to Como Park Concervatory and walk around for me. I miss that place!!!

Your mouth tastes funny because you are probably in a mild state of ketoacidosis when your glucose drops and it causes your mouth to have this funny taste. Also you are probably still tasting the isoflurane/anesthesia gas. I rememeber I could taste the gas in my mouth for like a week after my surgery.

You are so inspiring to me. I love seeing that you've updated, and reading what you wrote.

Fargahar is probably correct. In my personal experience too, after surgery, I too detected a strange personal odor that I attributed to my body's cleansing of the anethesia etc. It doesn't last long! Our bodies are miraculously made and put together. Everything has a purpose.
