I hate those people. I went on WW one time when I was at Jesusland, and my boss decided to join with me (oh thrill) and she would leave strawberries on my desk. Like, thanks, but I think I can handle it.

It's amazing when the light bulb goes on:) Yes, food isn't our friend. We eat to live because food is fuel not live to eat. And you know sweet pea, I don't think no matter how much anyone could have prepared you for how life after surgery could be, you wouldn't be prepared unless you lived it. You know what I mean?

Food is to be enjoyed, not only to sustain life. I hope you can still get enjoyment from food. I know what you mean about eating for comfort, etc. However, to say that we only eat to live is not really accurate is it? Take care! I'm happy for your weight loss.

I think we all learn from our experiences and you're doing just that now with this weight loss thing. Sounds like a good "revelation" to me that you made. Does your co-worker need to have a weight loss? Perhaps they're jealous and wish they had a tool such as yours. I think people who make "blanket judgements" need to refocus and wonder what it would be like if the situation was turned. Keep up the good work and don't worry what "they" all are thinking. A year from now it will be so worth it~~the weight loss and good health.
