In Fahrenheit 9/11 there is footage of the President giving a speech at a white tie dinner, welcoming the "haves, and the have-mores." I would never suggest that Kerry and Edwards aren't worth a good amount of money, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the billions that G.W. has made off the backs of innocent Americas. Also, the sad truth is that you almost have to be worth at least a million to be able to run competitively and seriously for president. Otherwise, you're just some guy in his house with a sign that says "Joe for President."

Re: Coworkers and others who judge and keep track. I personally feel if they have a "need" to do that they do not have very much good self esteem otherwise they'd be compassionate and caring. I love that others you work with are noticing and making kind, encouraging comments. You are on your way sister! You're going to soar! We will look forward to great things coming forth on this diary (& in your life). As for the political thing~~it's scarey to think where this country is going with so much devisiveness. Enough said there!

Re the Drudge photos: Now people are giving equal time to Cheney and Bush looking lovingly at each other. http://maxblumenthal.blogspot.com/2004/07/dick-uh-lauras-gonna-be-out-of-town.html

As long as your choice for political leaders tell people "You can't terminate a pregnancy, let me kill your children for you so I can become even richer," then they're probably higher on my scale than W.

I mean as long as they don't tell people that. Proofreading, people. It saves lives.
