I do know how you're feeling, even if not for the reasons you feel them. I wish I could give you a great big hug. I know that you see hope all the time, and that makes an emotionally overcast day seem harder. Take care. And congratulations on the feedback about your weight loss, outstanding!

Rainier cherries are $1.99 or $2.99 a pound here in their home state of Washington...too bad the price goes up on their trip to my former home of MN!

I'm not a hugger, but if you were here, I'd give you a hug. And also a pat on the back! Way to go with the weight loss! It sounds like you are doing a terrific job of working towards your goals!

Learning to cope with a chronic disease and all the related problems is really all you can do, but it makes a world of difference. I'm still learning how to cope with the fibro, but my quality of life is way better than it used to be. And, congrats on the weight loss and the compliments!

Is there not a support group your husband can go to? I would think to talk about this with others who are experiencing similar challenges would be of a great benefit. Again...congratulations on your weight progress. Also the recipe sounds very good as well.

Whenever I think of you, I think of the term, "Steele Magnolia". You are an inspiration. I am convinced that there is a book brewing inside of you when you have the time to write it. By the way, YOU LOOK GREAT!!! Congratulations on the weight-loss. What is a rainier cherry? I have never heard of them. I will have to check that out at the grocery store, although, I don't think we have them here in Ohio.

Rainier cherries are a cherry blend...they are blush yellow with red over the top. http://www.davewilson.com/br40/br40_fruitpix/cherry_pix/rainier.html A little less sweet than Bings, but always firm and rarely get mushy like red cherries can. Wow, you'd think I grew them or something...I just eat 'em! We had them in Minnesota, so I know they're in at least part of the Midwest.

Yeah, you're right. The weather here is so beautiful this week that I can't help but want to stay longer. I miss Eve too much though.

Rainier cherries are new discovery for me, I was like why does that cherry look like a mini peach. Well, I tried it and was addicted, thankfully down here in the south they are only $2.98/lb. But I haven't seen them again, it was like a one time heavenly treat! But I am thankful for even that one time.
