Hey! Your camping adventure sounded fun! Glad it all went well for the most part. I am not a camper! I love the idea of camping, but I know I would hate it. I need modern conveniences! As far as adopting goes, it's a long process and few people actually get to adopt -- because of the "process." My sister and her husband tried for years. Have you thought of being a foster parent? That might work better for you, but what do I know! keep praying! Take care. Love, Cyndi

Fostering and adoptions are God's miracles also.

It is probably a good thing that you don't live close to me as about 2 miles down the road from me is a used camper lot with both of the campers that you like. (more of the a-frames than the little bug-a-boo types) Matt and I want to go camping, but have yet to do so. I just found our air mattress at Grandma's house. We might have to try it later this summer when it is not so hot. I know how you feel about having to be the main income and thinking that you might have to continue doing that and hubby raising the kid. I have somewhat of a fear and a resentment towards that that I am working out. By the sheer fact that you have the strong desire to have children, you will have them. God gave you that desire. He will see it come to pass. There is always someone who will say, "Well, maybe you won't" but YOU have to have the faith to believe in what you know is in your heart. There will always be someone to unknowingly squash your dreams verbally. My Aunt didn't have her first baby until she was 38 or 40 and the doc told her she NEVER would have one.

I don't think I've ever signed your guestbook before, but I've been reading you a while. I just wanted to say I'm impressed with your spirit. You and your husband have faced a lot in your short time together, and you seem to handle it with such grace. Good luck in your adoption endeavors, too. You sound like you would make such wonderful parents.
