The leaves are changing colors here, too, but it is still hot and humid here. In some areas the corn fields are all dried up like fall and in other areas, they look like it is middle of July. Weird. I hope that I can come up to Mpls in the fall before peak season. I love Minnesota in the fall. Glad that they are taking out your picc line.

Your comment made me smile. Having worked at a Christian publishing company, I'm not entirely unfamiliar with Zondervan. I've only leafed through the marriage book, and mostly what struck me as funny was the fact that the "illustrations" promised were in fact, clinical diagrams. But I think even you will get a hoot out of "Christian Girls' Problems," since almost any etiquette book written in 1943, especially one aimed at teenage girls, is pretty funny. There is one part where, if a girl didn't know anything about how babies were made (and I'm assuming most girls reading this book didn't), she could find herself terrified of going to Technicolor movies for fear that she would end up pregnant. Awesome, n'est-ce pas?
