My SIL was over at our house in early Sept wben we had a stretch of cold weather, and she said "I had better get my coat because it might snow this week." She was dead serious, too. She kept saying, "Do you think it will snow???" She is a nut! I told her we are not in MN, and even they don't get it that early. *sigh* I wish I was in MN! I would love to bring Hubby up!

I've had friends who've done the weekend/school thing and they give up their lives for the duration of that committment. No more visiting with relatives, going to concerts etc. etc. til they were done. Just something to consider. I admire you for looking into furthering your education and which ever school you pick, I'm sure you will do well! Best wishes on your selection...it will enhance your future.

In regards to what Sunny said about putting your life on hold for the duration of school...It's not that you put your life on hold so much as your life being redefined by your being a "student" for awhile. Hell, if I'd thought about having to put my life on hold, I wouldn't be the mom of two very willful, obnoxious, yet loveable boys. It'll be so worth it when you're done. However, don't let it interfere with your dishcloth-making time! You got that?!!!!
