What was so sad about Nanny 911 is that it's just a representative of parents who let their children be in charge. Parents who fear letting their children be sad is a very dangerous set-up for the children they are raising. I think that mom should have been sent to her room, and locked in!

I wish I had seen that show. I have been hearing about it, and was curious. BTW, you always make me hungry with your entries! LOL I tell ya, your impromptu dishes sound so delicious. And congrats on passing the test!

I am so happy for all of your good news. I am going to try your pizza recipes. I love pizza, but I am allergic to cumin which is in most pizza sauces surprisingly (they only list "spices" on the can). There is only one place we can even order pizza in town and they just use roma tomatoes and basil to make their sauce. I wanted to see Nanny 911. Did it bring back memories of your Nanny days?

Parenting is such a huge issue in our country today. Parents are afraid they'll make their kids hate them if they discipline them. They also want to give their kids "benefits" that they feel they missed out on~~what(??) things??? Kids want their parents time, they want limits and boundaries as this gives them security and the feeling of being loved. Kids really do want to be disciplined! Our society is going down the toilet due to parents not being parents AND also not having a sense of morality! Now I'm getting on a 'band wagon' but I am passionate about these issues (can you tell?). Go shopping sometime or out to eat or any public venue and view the families and see who actually is in charge! Many times it's not the mom and dad!
