Love your entry today!!! Did you by chance catch the Dateline (I think it was that show) about a week ago re: bariactric surgeries? It was interesting. They said now that the surgery is more common that teens are jumping on the bandwagon. Most doctors won't take them if they're younger than 15. One person they talked about was a 17 year old boy and his insurance company decided at the last minute not to cover him but the doctor did the surgery anyway saying it would benefit him for health purposes. On all of the programs I've watched regarding this..they talk about the "addiction" to food and the psychological implications people need to address afterwards. I think I've read that you've said the surgery is just a tool to enable people (you) to lose the weight but that it's not an easy way to go. Keep up the great work and keep us up to date~~oh and don't forget the photos as well. Blessings!!!

Aw, Amy, you are such a sweetheart. And you are now officially skinnier than me, you hag! Hopefully I can follow in your (ever skinnier) footsteps!

Wow! Your cats are MUCH better behaved than my dog Tiger! Tiger won't quit running around the whole entire neighborhood until we are about to pass out from chasing him. I carry whatever lunch meat or cheese we have in the fridge with me, and sometimes even that (much to our immense SHOCK) doesn't lure him in, despite the fact that he has a bottomless stomach the rest of the 99.9% of his life. That is so nice that your cat just dropped. VERY well-behaved. My SIL had my former cat Rascal sneak out onto her balcony and he fell off of it onto the umbrella on the neighbor's patio. She flew down the steps to get him and he was on the umbrella spinning around like a merry-go-round when she got done. It was funny. I am so happy for all of your wonderful progress. You are a rose blooming as well as a butterfly.
