FYI... about consignment shops. Some of them won't even give you cash, they just give you store credit, and either way, they don't pay a ton. I'd take the clothes in, because a little money is better than no money and a passle of clothes that don't fit, but I thought I'd give you a heads up.

If I were you, I'd donate the clothes to Goodwill or another similar organization. Make you sure you document what you give (itemized list, photos) Then, I'd use a deduction program like "It's Deductable" or "Deduction Pro" when you do your taxes - - if you do your own. These programs give you great credit for your donated items, and will probably out more $$$ in your pocket via your tax return than a consignment store.... :-) If you have someone do your taxes, they can help you do the same thing...
