Congratulations on the prize!!! Maybe if you don't wear nail polish you can give it to friends or people you know who do. Just a thought. Sorry about the cold...alot of "that" is going around. Dad and I have started to not shake hands at church..you know when they do that greeting thing. People tend to understand with all the germs etc. but at work it's hard not to 'share' the germs. Hope you feel better soon! Oh..there is always that "muselex" (hee) stuff you can use.

The thing is, I think Dr. Phil was really restraining himself with that guy. Like, I think he genuinely wanted to let him have it, but it would have been pointless. From what I remember of his show (oh, sweet days of unemployment...), he would not even bother if the people didn't believe their behavior was "change-worthy." My favorite part was when that guy was like, "I love women! Playboy is a HUGE part of my life!" Like, ummmm... we're not talking about your wife's boobs, we're talking about the rest of her, assface. And also, not that every woman who's ever been in Playboy was abused as a child, but that in addition to her behavior on The Amazing Race and the way she held herself and acted on Dr. Phil's show was just screaming "Survivor of abuse." There's not too terribly much anyone can do in a case where the woman has no clue she's abused.

Me again....I watched it and I too think Dr. Phil was restraining himself a bit. Like you, I was disappointed as well because the guy is a total 'self-absorbed' jerk. Both of those individuals need a major melt-down and do-over. She needs emotional healing and he needs...a kick in the butt...and then some therapy wouldn't hurt neither. Like Sandy said, the guy's priorities (Playboy???) are really misplaced and he has no clue the damage he's doing to his wife. Perhaps he too, comes from abuse. I think that very much he's like that at home as well...even though he disputed it. Scripture says, and I'm para-phrasing it..."what's in the heart, so are you!"
