Being from New England, I have never experienced the devistation I see in those pictures. God Bless them all. My heart goes out to them.

Wow!!! I can't imagine what it would be like to lose everything in a storm like that. I will pray for your parent's community! You know some would say having a party in the midst of all that isn't the thing to do...but I'm glad you went ahead with it. It had to be a nice diversion from all else that was going on. Plus what a nice thing for you and your siblings to do for your parents. In this day you don't hear of the good stories of people who stick with it for the long haul and it's encouraging to hear about the success stories. I bet your parents have some wisdom to share with the rest of us.

Wow! So much devastation.... It's amazing more people didn't lose their lives! We sure missed it - they were all set to have dinner on the roof at the Convention Center as it looked like all of the storms had gone north. Our son was with my sister in Mt. Horeb where one of the original warnings was. Glad you missed it! p.s. the union is one of my very favorite places in teh whole world...
