I think you and Bob would be fantastic foster parents. One of the neatest things about foster homes in MN is that many of the children you are able to adopt too, and sometimes it doesn't cost as much as other adoptions. I totally recommend trying out another site to see how much freer you might be writing and expressing yourself. I really love the way diary-x is formatted although I will never leave diaryland completely.

Being foster parents..you can tell the authorities what age you will take. Be of mind these kids come at all hours of the day or night and may stay short term or long term and you *will* become attached. Some kids will have *baggage* that will be hard to contend with as well. Being able to have a real diary/journal, I think should be private, personal and totally anonymous. Especially if that's the way you process your feelings and thoughts. But if you leave Diaryland, you would be missed! I hope those little juvvies didn't destroy or steal any of your stuff! Keep us updated on that. Will your building managers implement a better system for the storage areas?

Two things...I have always thought, man, I don't know if I could be a foster parent. It would be so sad to care for a child and then have to let them go. BUT, now that I know what I know about foster homes and foster parents that I have seen, I think...well, they have to go somewhere. And man...I would rather have them well cared for for whatever amount of time we had them and suffer a bit of a heartache than to know that they are in one of the homes I have seen. #2...Did you watch Three Wishes last Friday? They were in Brookings!!! SDSU gave the Mom and her daughters a free ride when they were ready. I am SO pround to have graduated from there! Anyway...I love you and am so proud of you...I wish we lived closer!

If you move to a new home for your journal, I hope you let me know too!!! You're one of my favorites, and I'll be so sad if I can no longer get my Sunflowery fix!!! You definitely don't know me in real life, I live in Pennsylvania. :-) Oh god, that sounds so desperate and pathetic, doesn't it?

If you are serious about moving, you should try Live Journal. It has filters so you can allow only those people you want to read your entries. I love it! I would miss you too like all those above but I want you to do what's right for you! But if at all possible, let's stay connected - well, more me with you than the other way around!
