What's your address...I'll be over for supper! :-) I'm so sorry to hear of the losses in your husband's life~~both in friends and in his job etc. I'm wondering if he'd be 'open' to a support group or counseling of some kind. Being depressed can't be fun and it may be helpful to get the insight from someone else. Plus there may be something he can get involved in that he's not thought of before. Just some thoughts here... I know that guys are resistant to seeking help but if it would help him it would also be beneficial to your marriage I would think.

I am so sorry about Bob's and your friends. I also understand what Bob means about working. I get the same thing from Terry. I tell him that he is my strength, my love and my best friend. It doesn't matter who earns the money if you are a team. A team means 50-50 and he puts in his 50 every day. Without him, I wouldn't have the support I've had through all my medical problems. I know Bob has been your right hand with your struggles with your surgery and living with your lifestyle adjustment. He needs to know that without that, you wouldn't be doing as well as you are. Hugs to you both.

YUMMY fajitas! I will have to try that. I am so sorry to hear about Bob's friends as well as the guy from church. Our former mutual roommie called me a day or two after it happened to call me. I am so sorry. I know it seems devastating. My hubby has been dealing with depression due to not working. It has been hard on both of us.
