Dah-ling! You know how I feel about being 40 ... it is the very best feeling in the world! But, don't rush through your thirties, they were a rockin' decade for me, too. I hope you feel much better - Be gone rotten cold!

However, think of everything you have done during your 36th year. At the age of 37, you will have shed 100+ pounds. That is an amazing accomplishment! And look back at how you have changed during this 36th year. Your personality has flourished! Your self esteem is roaring. Take some tylenol for your aches and pains, I hope you feel better. You are the best Amy!

Don't come crying to me when you turn 45! Because by then, I'll be 53!!! I hope you're feeling better soon! If not, wear a mask!

Words of wisdom from my friend "M. T." who shared with me recently that our lives are "eternal" and when that's the perspective we have to look at, then what we view 'here' is just temporal. Life is a preparation for what is our future...if you get my drift. Remember one of our conversations this past weekend re: houses etc. There's mansions in our future...and there won't be dust! By the way...taking what Kathy says here in this post...when you're 40 think of your 'ole parents! (hee)

Dude, for real, I thought you were going to say your mom had early onset Alzheimer's, and I almost rushed to your comments section. Then I was like, "Wait, she said this was her favorite part." Good thing I read on, or else right now you'd be reading my sympathetic message and wondering why I was so upset about your looking so awesome.

Thank you for the E-card and I got a nice call from Bob so I am happy. I turned 30 years older than you yesterday and I still have not accomplished what I wanted to before I turned 40. LOL

I re-read what I wrote above and it doesn't make sense perhaps. I meant that when you become 40...what age do you think we will be??? Don't go there here...BUT....we have "that" to consider and that would be an "UFFDA"!!! Oprah says her 40's were "the best" so she's viewing her 50's to be more than that even. I say, just make the most of what you are doing right now as "now" is all you have. Don't sweat the future. BTW...I still don't know what I want to be...so it's not uncommon I don't think.
