I know what you mean about finding a million different toothpastes. You almost need your own toothpaste consultant. It will be a world gone mad if we ever have a "toothpaste counter" like with makeup...lol. I hope you enjoy the weather in FL. (you lucky duck!) You will find a swimsuit in FL. They have a million of them. When we were in Myrtle, there were beach shops all over the place that had them pretty cheap. About the beaches, if you have AAA, they can tell you about some nice beaches in FL, in fact, they will print out little maps to get you there. Another way to make sure you don't lose Bob's w/c is to mark it with colored tape, so that you can easily identify it. Also, talk with the airline rep at the gate, and make sure they don't lose it. If you want a good book to read on the trip, here is an AWESOME book. "Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen. It is AWESOME!!! I can't put it down. Have a wonderful trip~!

Get on the internet and see what it says about beaches in FL. The local chambers of commerce might be helpful in that. As for your mammo...take ibuprophen (or whatever you are allowed in OTC pain meds) prior to your visit. Just saw that in a magazine. Toothpaste...how about looking for a good "natural" one? Or as you said you found one that had a minimum of ingrediants. I too have noticed how it's hard to find those now. Traveling tips I've learned..tie something colorful on all checked luggage so you can spot it at the luggage pickup. I purchased red bandanas and cut them up and tied them on our suitcases. Also having a tag with your name, address etc. also is a good thing to do. As for the wheelchair~~can't it come on the plane with you and they check it up front or someplace like that?? Away from all that...we have snow here in WI and "more" is in the forecast for later today with winds and drifts. The weather-guy said tomorrow would be a "rough commute"! So enjoy your trip!!!!

I don't know...I think you'd be better off hitting Kohl's for a suit now than trying to find one in Florida. Just my opinion. And ham flavored toothpaste? Reminds me of the time some bologna-tinged water leaked into the top of my open can of pepsi. Grossest thing I've ever tasted! And don't let the mammogram scare you. They're nothing. I'm not kidding. Oh sure, a bit embarrassing but really, nothing to fuss about. Have a great trip - I'll be thinking of you while I'm dealing with this frozen hell of a state!!!

I'm on the east coast and not too familiar with whellchair friendly beaches on the west coast. I suggest the same thing Jennifer and your mom suggest. As for the toothpaste, I get my at VitaminShoppe, they have a website too, www.vitaminshoppe.com. Only all natural with no fluoride for me. It's not really cheap, but lasts a long time. Mammograms are not a big deal, it's weird though to have the tech lift and adjust to get the best picture.

I too had my first mammo last year in July. It was a tad uncomfy but not like I feared. The worst was as somebody else said the tech readjusting. But it in itself was not painful, though a tad uncomfortable.
